1. I've
taught math for 8 years in Moreno Valley Ca.
2. Currently
I'm a secondary instructional Math Coach in Redlands Ca.
3. I feel
like mathematics is an art.
4. Students
need to play with math and see the flexibility and creativity that mathematics
has.
5. I want
to help students see math differently not just as problems to work through for
correct answers, but learning experiences.
6. I’m a
determined person and work really hard at whatever I put my mind too.
7. I
believe that both students and teachers alike need a growth mindset.
8. I have
a Master’s in Education.
9. I have
an Elementary credential and a supplemental and subject matter authorization in
mathematics.
10. I have
a Bachelors of Arts in communications with an emphasis in photography.
11. I had a
picture published in National Geographic.
12. I was
born in Tacoma Washington.
13. I
started in school in Redlands (K-2), moved to Moreno Valley and finished school
(2-12)
14. I have
now taught in both districts I attended school.
15. I joined
the #MTBoS challenge to push myself to blog.
16. I want to share ideas with others. I have seen and been part of so many great
mathematical experiences with teachers and hope to share those experiences with
others.
